Basics of Baking & Pastry Arts

Introduction to making bread and desserts. Learn to make various bread and pastry in fun and easy paced setting offered to all student levels. Find joy in cooking and discover new recipes for you and your family at home!

Intermediate Baking & Pastry Arts

Learn the principle methods and techniques of: pre-fermentation, biga, sponge, starting and maintaining a variety of sourdough starters, extended fermentation, the 10 steps of bread production, proper shaping, proofing and scoring, whole grain breads, Italian artisan breads, enriched breads, special occasion/holiday breads, puff pastry and laminated dough.

Advanced Baking & Pastry Arts

For professionals planning on opening their own bakery related restaurant or fast paced hospitality businesses. Any current business owners or leading professionals looking to expand their offerings and dessert menu. Entrepreneur track courses are offered through detailed curriculum and tailored to suit your needs.

 

Cake Decoration

Sponge cake building to icing and piping techniques will be taught. Build on the basics of breadmaking by learning to make specialty cakes for special events. Intermediate to professional courses require consultation before booking.

Entrepreneurial Course

Come in for a consultation to have a course designed just for you and your business needs.

Barista Course

Learn about coffee, how to prepare and serve espresso and espresso based drinks. Program will cover hand drip, espresso and espresso based drinks, and latte art.
